Music Licensing Store FAQ
1.) What music licenses do you actually offer?
The current catalog listed above is for active licensing. You can license our music for:
a.) Film and TV synchronization projects
b.) Video/Slideshow projects such as corporate, schools or for wedding videos.
c.) Software and Games
d.) Radio and TV advertising
e.) Telephone/music on hold or ring back tones.
g.) Music for website or YouTube videos.
h.) Any products or toys
h.) Other sound recording and mechanical reproduction projects.
2.) Can I evaluate the song first before actually licensing it?
Yes, you are allowed to download a copy of the song master recording for evaluation purposes only. Simply click the download button and register as a user. Registration is required to make sure that all users downloading files are humans and not bots. Registration and downloading music is free.
3.) Do I need to register to license a song?
Yes, if you license a song, you also need to register so that we have relevant information about our licensees. We encourage you to read our privacy policy regarding how we handle your private information. You can download the tracks first before actually licensing it. This is important for your project evaluation.
4.) How would I able to search songs in the catalog?
Simply use either:
a.) Drop down, it shows a lot of relevant categories in licensing music such as genre and styles.
b.) Search box. You can type keywords.
c.) Contact me if you are not able to find songs in the catalog.
5.) Do you own the rights of both song and the sound recording?
Aside from writing and publishing the song. I produced all the sound recording thus owning both rights (sound recording and the song). This makes it easy for you get permission to use copyrighted music.
6.) Can I use your song for personal use (not actually licensing it)?
Yes, simply click the download button, proceed to register and download the song. You will get a high resolution 320kbps MP3 copy of the song. You can add it to your iPod or personal MP3 collection. Just remember that its for personal use only. You are not going to share it with anyone or upload it back on the Internet or create copies for sale or distribution. If you want to be granted with more music rights to use the song, you need to license it.
7.) How can I say “thanks” for the free music?
You can either:
a.) Like us and the song artist in your social circles at Facebook, Google +, Twitter, etc.
b.) Link to audio recording homepage from your own music blog (simply copy and paste the badge below):
8.) What is your performance right organization?
An ASCAP music publisher and a songwriter. Read more about public performance music license.
9.) Are you affiliated with Harry Fox Agency?
Not yet. I personally issue mechanical licenses. Learn more about what is a mechanical license agreement.
10.) What is the format of the master that I’m going to download after licensing/purchase?
By default, the master is available in both 16-bit CD audio wav file and 320kbps MP3 format after purchase. WAV audio file is loss-less, uncompressed format which can be ideal for some projects.
11.) Can I negotiate for a license fee?
Yes, you can make an offer instead of accepting the calculated licensing fee. It will be sent as a licensing inquiry in the system and you will get a reply based on your offer. Read the following useful articles on licensing fees:

12.) What is your official music publisher and songwriter name?
EMERSON ROBLE MANINGO -this is the music publisher name I registered with ASCAP. In Philippines, my publishing is registered as Emerson R Maningo Music Publishing in Department of Trade and Industry. When filing cue sheets, always use the publisher name I registered with performing right societies. You can also obtain the information on the officially issued music license after purchase.

14.) What is your payment method?
For online music licensing, I accept payments via PayPal. You can also pay offline via checks or wire transfer. All of the information would be provided to you during the licensing process.
